The World Baseball Classic is set to be an extraordinary experience for three of America's brightest stars, and it's an event that will push them to new heights.

"I've heard from many players who've participated in previous Classics, and they all say it's an experience like no other," shares Aaron Judge, the Yankees powerhouse and Team USA captain. "They compare it to playoff baseball or intense rivalry games, but this is on a whole new level."
Judge, like many others, watched the 2023 tournament from the sidelines, longing to be part of the action. "It was tough to watch, knowing I could be out there," he admits. "Every at-bat, every game, I pictured myself in those moments. I can't wait to experience that firsthand."
For Paul Skenes, the 2025 NL Cy Young Award winner, representing his country is a dream come true, albeit in an unexpected way. "I always thought I'd be flying jets at this stage of my life," he reveals, "but as a baseball fan, I've always wanted to be part of the World Baseball Classic. If given the chance, I'd never turn it down."
Tarik Skubal, another Team USA member, credits a conversation with the legendary Clayton Kershaw for changing his perspective on pitching. "I want to learn from these guys," he says. "I want to understand what makes them so great. It's going to be an incredible opportunity."
Wearing the Team USA jersey evokes a sense of pride and gratitude for these athletes. "I represent everyone in this country who sacrifices so we can play a game," Skubal explains. "It's an honor I don't take lightly."
Judge often thinks of military veterans at games, and making them proud is a powerful motivator. "Our sacrifices pale in comparison to theirs," he acknowledges.
Ultimately, these athletes are driven by the desire to bring a championship home to the United States. "This is why we play the game," Skubal asserts. "To compete against the best and prove we're the best. With the talent we have, I like our chances."
