Here’s something really neat I came across recently! I’m sure we all know Teddy Ruxpin, the tape talker animatronic toy from the 80s, but did you know that there was a GIANT Teddy Ruxpin animatronic at FAO Schwarz in New York City? I certainly didn’t! Not much is known about this giant Teddy, unfortunately, and his current whereabouts aren’t known either. However, this recently discovered clip is a wonderful look at this big fella, and it’s pretty exciting to see him in action! Don’t you just wanna give him a big ol’ hug?

This Teddy would’ve been produced under the guidance of Worlds of Wonder, as this video was taken in 1990, before Teddy was produced by any other company. His facial proportions are also most accurate to a WoW Teddy, although they’re still not completely accurate to the toy.

If anyone knows anything more about this giant Teddy, feel free to let us know! :D

Hi!! I'm never at all active on Tumblr, but im the Martin from the original tiktok!! I absolutely *love* this art, as does the whole group. I was in Disneyland with the Jon and Tim when the art was posted and we all freaked out

I luckily haven't had to deal with much chronic pain or hand pain yet, especially with regards to baking (crochet is another story). That said, these look like some pretty solid tips! There's also some in the comments section.

As this link nears five hundred notes, I'm just... very quietly touched at how many people are sharing it. Whether they need it themselves (or think they will someday), or know someone else who might need it, the fact that all of them are sharing the sentiment of "I want the people who love doing this thing to be able to keep doing the thing that they love" is... yeah. It makes me happy.

The Outbursts of Everett True was a comic strip that ran in papers from 1905 to 1927, wherein the aforementioned Everett True regularly beat the everliving shit out of rude people as a warning to anyone else who might consider being rude. Men have not only been taking up too much room on public transport for about as long as public transport has existed, but the people around them have been irritated about it for at least a hundred years. The next time someone tries to claim that manspreading is a false phenomenon, please direct them to this strip so that Everett True can correct their misconceptions with an umbrella upside the head.

I have never before heard of Everett True, but if he “regularly beat the everliving shit out of rude people as a warning to anyone else who might consider being rude,” I have a strong spiritual connection with him.

I’m very lucky to own a book that’s a collection of most of these comics (sadly not all of them) and would highly recommend hunting these down if you can. Sorry for the lack of a scanner but phone photos will just have to do.
